Amazing Antique Primitive Black Horn & Giant Bakelite Bead Long Necklace

This is a very cool and unique necklace. I am still in the process of researching it and at first thought it was an amber bead on horn, but came to find after testing it that the large central oblong bead is a beautiful marbled butterscotch orange bakelite bead. Quite large this bead is approx. 2 inches long and 1.6 inches in diameter/thickness. The surrounding chain of the necklace are drilled and sliced round pieces of horn. I am unsure of the animal from which they came, most likey water buffalo but many animals have a darker brown or black horn, the most prized of which is rhino. I will update as I find more information. The construction of this beautiful and unique pices is quite primitive, strung onto a clear cord of line of some kind and knotted at the top / back of the piece. Can be re-strung, or have an clasp added at buyers request for a small alteration cost. Necklace is quite long with a aprox. 1 foot dangle.
