Vintage Sterling Silver & Abalone Mexican Hinged Clamper Bracelet

Gorgeous vintage sterling silver Mexican hollow work hinged clamper bracelet set with abalone shell.  Hallmarked SCH sterling 925. c.1930

Made in Taxco, Mexico in the late 1930's this heavy sterling silver repousse clamper bypass beauty is handmade with the greatest care and quality construction by a silversmith artisan. Signed Villisana, one of the sterling masters on par with margot de taxco and balladaras brothers. This piece is similar to an Alpaca replica I have available as well, but the quality on this is far FAR surpassing that of the alpaca piece I have available. This is 925 sterling silver and abalone, of many colors, polished to a sheen. This is hinged and will fit many size wrists, but while closed this is a bit larger than most I've come across.

This is 2 1/2 inches long across the front and is nearly perfectly circular as opposed to oblong as many are and has a just over 2.5 inch center diameter all the way around. Don't miss this amazing work of art!
