Edwardian Mixed Metal Carved Shell Cameo Cross Locket 14K GF Necklace

Gorgeous mixed metal 14k gold filled and silver engraved flyer de lis and fountain design shell carved cameo locket necklace.  The intricately carved pink and white shell has a left facing beautiful cameo of a woman’s face bezel set with a serrated gold bezel surrounded by a detailing bead wire encompassing it.   All this is set upon a maltese cross design of silver and gold with fluer de lis and fountain detailing engraved on both and surrounded by detailed gold balls around the perimeter.  The back has a locket door that was used for a loved one’s hair, but now can be used for a photo. Hangs on a 17” 14k GF chain with a spring ring closure. Locket measures 43mm by 36mm.
