Amazing 1970’s Striped Brown, Tan & Orange Short Sheath Dress

Amazing thick quality fabric in vertical striped chocolate brown, light brown and orange in various thickness stripes.  Sheath body con style with a crew style neck and short cuffed sleeve.  Full metal hidden zipper.  Has a 3.5” seam allowance under the hem of the skirt.  Kimono style cut, no shoulder seams.  No tags or labels.  Handmade in Japan couture for a friend of mine in the late 1960’s. Fabric does have some stretch to it, so measurements have some allowance.  

Measurements: (taken flat and zipped) 

shoulder to shoulder: 15” (estimated due to kimono cut which has no shoulder seam)

bust/chest: 39”

waist: 28”

hip: 37”

hem: 35”

length/ shoulder to hem: 37”

waist to hem: 21”

sleeve length/ shoulder to sleeve hem: 7”

sleeve width/sleeve circumference: 12.5”
